Fine Art Landscape Photography by Adam Kavalunas

After an image is captured and the film has been developed, the image is then professionally scanned for maximum resolution and color rendition. After scanning, each image is digitally edited to produce the best print possible. I usualy find it necessary to edit every image in order to produce a print that meets my creative passion. My goal with every image is to recreate the amazment I felt when I tripped the shutter. All images on my site are available for purchase. Most images are available in sizes ranging from 11x14" to 40x50".

My standard prints are on either Fuji Crystal Archive or Kodak Endura papers, using the new laser printers. These printers, such as the LightJet, Chromira, and Durst series digitally "write" the images, offering sharpness, image control, and fidelity never before obtainable via traditional printing methods. It creates a true continuous tone print which is accepted as the standard for "fine art" archival photographic prints.

Open edition prints, those 16x20 and smaller, have no limit to the number of prints issued. They come signed and titled, but not numbered. Limited edition prints, those larger than 16x20 (depending on aspect ratio) have an edition number of 25 prints per image. Once 25 limited edition prints of any one image are sold, the price increases 20% for the next edition of 25 prints. There will be 10 editions for a total of 250 prints per image.
